Salvation Decision ~ ~ THE NEXT STEP ~  So... are you ready to make the best choice of your life? Saying "yes" to Yeshua/Jesus is really very simple. You just talk to Him - with total honesty and with an open heart. He is NOT the typical Jesus you've seen protrayed in movies. Rather - He is God who is full of JOY and LOVE for you ! It doesn't matter what kind of life you have had up till now.... what you've done or not done. What matters is that you believe, with all your heart, that Jesus is able to forgive your sins, that He is God, and that He rose from the dead to claim victory over death. And when He your sins....He forgets them !!! He remembers them no more ! Now THAT is great news! But if you are not sure just what to say to Him... perhaps this will help get you started.... (I have typed out a sample prayer below, that you can use)  Remember now....from your heart ~ Dear Jesus ~ I realize now that I am a sinner and that there is no way that I could ever be good enough to get to heaven. I may not be the worst person here on earth - but next to You... there is nothing good about me.... at least nothing that really counts. You are the only One who can save me Lord. I believe that You are the only begotten Son of God. What you did on the cross and how you suffered and died for me is something that I can hardly imagine. But You did die for me Lord, and then you rose from the dead to live and reign forever. I want to know You and to be with You forever. So I am asking You to come into my life and be my Saviour, and I believe that You will do that and forgive me. I give you my life Heavenly Father . Help me to live in a way that is pleasing to You. And Jesus...help me to tell others about You too. Love (your name) Well --- do you feel any different ??? Maybe ~ Maybe Not. But if you prayed with a sincere heart...you are now saved from sin and death and you have new life in Jesus! The best way to begin to know someone is to spend time with them! Well, that's the same way with God, our Heavenly Father ! He has known you even before the beginning of time. But He still wants to hear from you. That's the kind of God, our Heavenly Father. He Is. That's what prayer is about. Prayer does NOT mean fancy words, it's just you - talking with Him - and listening to Him. And He has provided something very special for you so that you can know Him even better! The Bible is NOT just a book....it is the Word Of God. Think about it ~ His Word written for you and me - so that we can know Him!! So what do you do now??? Read His Love Letter (The Bible). Talk with Him (Prayer) Not just every once in awhile - but every day - just like you would look forward to being with a close friend. He is the Potter - We are God's Clay. Let Him mold you and grow you as only He can... with Perfect Love and Joy and Righteousness.
